Earning and redeeming credits through UpToDate is a simple process and does not require tests, fees or the use of a third-party provider. The time which Saudi physicians already spend reading UpToDate may be claimed towards CME on the basis of 1 hour of learning equalling 1 credit. SCFHS will accept a maximum of 10 credit hours earned from use of UpToDate by each healthcare practitioner per year during his or her re-registration period.
