Academic publisher SAGE Publishing has announced that the Sociological Review, Britain's oldest sociology journal, will be joining its comprehensive social science portfolio from January 2017.
First launched in 1908, The Sociological Review has published leading social science articles for over 100 years. As one of the world's foremost journals for sociological inquiry, it covers all areas of the discipline, including criminology, education, gender, medicine, and organisation. The journal's tradition also extends beyond this to research that is anthropological or philosophical in orientation and analytical or ethnographic in approach.
The Sociological Review has been publishing high quality and innovative articles for over 100 years. The journal has a five-year impact factor (2012) of 1.220 and the journal has received 2,712 citations since 2004 from 463 contributors, an average of 5.86 citations per contribution.
