Academic publisher Emerald Group Publishing will be exhibiting at the 76th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management in California, August 5-9 2016.
The Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting is the premier conference for more than 10,000 students, academics, scholars, and professionals in the scholarly management and organisation space.
Emerald welcomes all AOM attendees to stop by Emerald's booths 401 - 403 and meet the Emerald team. There they can find out about Emerald's journals, discuss new journal launch opportunities, special issue proposals, editorial opportunities, or to talk over any proposals for an edited book or book series.
Emerald will also be hosting its annual Literati networking event during the conference, to celebrate the success of Literati award winners. The Emerald Literati Awards, which include the Awards for Excellence and Citations of Excellence, are now in their 23rd year and were established to celebrate and reward the outstanding contributions of authors and reviewers to scholarly research. The networking event will take place at the Anaheim Marriott, Marquis Northeast Ballroom on August 7, 2016, 7-9pm.
Several 'Meet the Editor Sessions' are taking place on August 5, where authors and academics can discuss ideas or proposals relating to topics including: the Research and Practice in Business & Society; the Changing Context of Managing People; the Research in Critical Management Studies. Appointments with the commissioning editors, Zoe Morris and John Stuart, are also available.
This year's conference theme is 'Making Organisations Meaningful' - and to mark this, Emerald got together with one of the Co-Editors of the journal Management Decision to hear his thoughts on the theme.
