Venue and agenda for first OpenAthens Customer Conference announced -

OpenAthens, part of Eduserv, a not-for-profit IT services company based in Bath, UK, has announced the venue and agenda for the first OpenAthens Customer Conference. The conference will bring together information professionals and technical experts from across the spectrum of healthcare, academia, corporate and publishing under the theme of Creating Connections to discuss the key challenges and opportunities facing organisations in the context of Identity and Access Management (IAM).

The event will take place at the NEC Birmingham on November 9, 2016. The keynote address on how readers discover content will be delivered by Tracy Gardner from Simon Inger Consulting, and Ken Chad will also present on the theme of innovation in library services. In addition, there will be a variety of breakout sessions on mapping end user experiences, discussion of the development roadmap for OpenAthens, product training, and presentations – as well as a series of lightning talks and round table sessions.
