Interventional Cardiology Review appoints Dr. Tim Kinnaird and Dr. Darren Mylotte as section editors -

Interventional Cardiology Review (ICR) has announced the appointment of Dr. Tim Kinnaird and Dr. Darren Mylotte as Coronary Intervention and Structural Intervention section editors respectively.

Drs. Kinnaird and Mylotte will assist Editor-in-Chief, Simon Kennon, in ensuring ICR continues to publish high quality review manuscripts for the continued education of the interventional cardiology community.

Tim Kinnaird is Director of the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory and Lead Coronary Interventionalist at University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff, UK. During his training he completed an echo fellowship in Vancouver, Canada and a coronary intervention fellowship at the Washington Hospital Centre, Washington DC. He has a clinical interest in complex angiography and angioplasty, anti-platelet and anti-thrombotic drugs and in the complications of angioplasty.

Darren Mylotte is a Consultant Cardiologist at Galway University Hospitals, Ireland, having completed fellowship programmes in Structural and Congenital Interventional Cardiology at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, and in Interventional Cardiology at the Institut Cardiovasculaire Paris Sud (ICPS) in Massy, France respectively. He has a real passion for clinical research with a special interest in aortic and mitral valve disorders.

Interventional Cardiology Review is a tri-annual journal aimed at assisting time-pressured physicians to stay abreast of key advances and opinion in the coronary and structural interventions. Aimed at educating interventional cardiologists, ICR provides comprehensive update on a range of pertinent issues to support physicians in continuously developing their knowledge and effectiveness in day-to-day clinical practice.
