Open access scholarly publisher Co-Action Publishing, Sweden, has announced the launch of European Clinical Respiratory Journal (ECRJ), in cooperation with the Nordic Respiratory Academy (NORA), including the Swedish Society of Respiratory Medicine, Danish Society of Respiratory Medicine, Norwegian Respiratory Society and Finnish Respiratory Society.
European Clinical Respiratory Journal provides an international open access meeting point for high quality translational studies and clinical applications. More than 380 million people suffer from diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including children and the elderly. The journal, under the editorial leadership of Editor-in-Chief Dr. Leif Bjermer, Professor, Department of Respiratory Medicine & Allergology, Skane University Hospital, Sweden, will publish peer-reviewed results of clinical and experimental studies addressing these illnesses.
Professor Bjermer is joined by an editorial team that includes Deputy Chief Editor Vibeke Backer, Professor and Senior Hospital Physician, Bispebjerg Hospital, Copenhagen, Denmark; Co-Editor Zuzana Diamant, Professor of Asthma and Allergy Research, Department of Respiratory Medicine & Allergology, Skane University Hospital Lund, Sweden and Department of General Practice, University Medical Center Groningen and QPS-NL, Groningen, The Netherlands; and Co-Editor Ronald Dahl, Professor of Respiratory Medicine and Allergology, Department of Respiratory Diseases & Allergy, Aarhus University Hospital, Arhus, Denmark. An international editorial board with members comprising key subject areas within respiratory science further supports the journal.
With its strong clinical focus, the journal is projected to be a valuable reference for the research community as well as clinicians and other respiratory scientists.
