McGraw-Hill Education Professional, a global provider of content and services for the science, technical, and medical communities, has announced the launch of the AccessMedicine App, the first off-line mobile application of the world-renowned medical education platform.
A key feature of the new AccessMedicine App, available for download onto all iOS and Android devices, is that users will now be able to gain access to valuable AccessMedicine diagnostic resources in an off-line environment. Because AccessMedicine users – doctors, residents, medical students, nurses – typically work in environments such as wards and ER's, where internet service is frequently unavailable, the AccessMedicine App provides access to essential point-of-care diagnostic tools and resources. These include the Quick Medical Dx & Rx Tool; Visual Diagnostic Tool for Dermatology; Differential Diagnosis Tool; and Diagnostic Tests.
The AccessMedicine platforms are accessible on any device through the recently launched responsive design on the new SCM6 platform. But with the AccessMedicine App, users can tap into the most relevant point of care tools in any environment.
The AccessMedicine App can be downloaded from iTunes for Apple iPhones and iPads and from Google Play for Android devices.
