Elsevier publishes five new electronics and embedded systems design books -

STM publisher Elsevier has announced the publication of five new electronics and embedded systems design books, one of which is Analog Circuit Design Volume Three: Design Note Collection, the next book in the Analog Circuit Design series, edited by Bob Dobkin and John Hamburger. Dobkin has been closely involved in the development of high-performance linear integrated circuits (ICs) for more than 30 years and has generated many industry standard circuits. He also holds more than 100 patents pertaining to linear ICs.

The Design Note Collection is a comprehensive volume of applied circuit design solutions, providing refined and practical design techniques. The book includes extensive power management section, covering switching regulator design, linear regulator design, microprocessor power design, battery management, powering LED lighting, automotive and industrial power design. Other sections span a range of analog design topics, including data conversion, data acquisition, communications interface design, operational amplifier design techniques, filter design, and wireless/RF communications and network design.

This book extends the series initiated by the highly successful publication of Analog Circuit Design: A Tutorial Guide to Applications and Solutions and Analog Circuit Design, Volume 2, Immersion in the Black Art of Analog Design. The series includes contributions from industry leaders in analog design such as Bob Dobkin, Jim Williams, George Erdi and Carl Nelson.

The five new electronics and embedded systems design books are: Analog Circuit Design Volume Three: Design Note Collection by Bob Dobkin and John Hamburger; Developing and Managing Embedded Systems and Products: Methods, Techniques, Tools, Processes, and Teamworkby Kim Fowler; Real-Time UML Workshop for Embedded Systems, 2nd Edition by Bruce Douglass; Digital Integrated Circuit Design Using Verilog and SystemVerilog by Ronald Mehler; and Embedded C Programming: Techniques and Applications of C and PIC MCUS by Mark Siegesmund.

The books are available on the Elsevier Store and on ScienceDirect, Elsevier's full-text scientific database offering journal articles and book chapters from over 2,200 peer-reviewed journals and more than 25,000 book titles.
