Gale unveils interactive resources for Chemistry and Anatomy -

Gale, a Cengage company, has launched Gale Interactive: Chemistry and Gale Interactive: Human Anatomy for the academic market. Through innovative technology, these new digital resources combine Gale's curriculum-aligned research content with interactive 3D models from partner VIVED to help students understand science topics.

With these new resources, users can engage with the content using tools to zoom, rotate and explore models. In the chemistry product, students also benefit from a visualization experience – seeing and interacting with atoms and molecules and being able to, for instance, combine elements to see reactions, providing real learning value. Clicking through each step-by-step guided, interactive lesson, users will find relevant reference content, and have the ability to search across content to find exactly what they are looking for. Self-quizzing capabilities are incorporated to help students review key concepts. Gale Interactive: Chemistry and Human Anatomy can be used for test preparation, research and homework assignments, or in-class demonstrations.

Gale Interactive: Chemistry follows syllabus topics covered in college chemistry courses, such as the periodic table, molecules and compounds, reactions and chemical processes. Gale Interactive: Human Anatomy follows topics covered in college human anatomy courses, allows students to examine virtual 3D dissections, and includes more than 4,300 structures and 13,500 identifiable landmarks in the human body.

All Gale Interactive products are integrated with G-Suite for Education and Microsoft tools. Users can seamlessly login to their Google or Microsoft accounts from the products and save, share, and download Gale content with Google tools (Drive, Docs, Gmail) and Microsoft tools (OneDrive and OneNote). Through Google Classroom or Microsoft Classroom, instructors can link interactive content from the product for classroom assignments. Librarians can also connect Gale Interactive to contextually relevant content from their library's GVRL collection through Interlink.

The Gale Interactive portfolio also includes Gale Interactive: Science, a resource covering the general science disciplines most-studied in high school, including biology, chemistry, and earth science.
