Dr. Reau, Chief, Section of Hepatology at the RUSH University Medical Center, will serve as Chief Medical Editor, Hepatology. Dr. Loftus, Professor of Medicine and Director of the IBD Interest Group at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, will serve as Chief Medical Editor, Gastroenterology.
Dr. Reau specializes in the diagnosis and management of liver diseases, and is widely regarded as an expert in hepatitis B, hepatitis C, non-alcoholic liver disease and liver transplant procedures. She is board certified in Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine and Transplant Hepatology.
Dr. Loftus has published more than 260 original articles, editorials, and book chapters, and has lectured extensively on the epidemiology, natural history, diagnosis, and medical management of IBD.
