Ohio Libraries go mobile with Boopsie via OHIONET partnership -

Boopsie, Inc., a mobile platform-as-a-service provider for libraries worldwide, has announced that many library users throughout Ohio can now enjoy on-demand access to ebooks, databases and other trusted library resources via a library-branded mobile app on all major device types. Boopsie announced that Cuyahoga Falls Library and Lane Public Libraries will join the 25 other OHIONET libraries currently using Boopsie's platform to develop a customised mobile app so more community members can enjoy library services on the go.

Use of native mobile apps instead of mobile websites continues to skyrocket because of the ease of use on mobile devices.

Boopsie's partnerships with dozens of content providers that have served libraries for hundreds of years ensure a seamless user experience, connecting library users with the highest quality resources on a user-friendly, native mobile interface. Boopsie's apps seamlessly connect users to OverDrive, ProQuest, EBSCO, LexisNexis, Comics Plus: Library Edition, and Recorded Books, among other products and services from library industry leaders.
