Library automation solutions provider Ex Libris® Group has announced that the California State University (CSU) has selected the Ex Libris Alma® library management service and Ex Libris Primo® discovery and delivery solution to deliver seamless, state of the art access to print and electronic resources for students and faculty. CSU campuses are migrating from various systems including Innovative Interfaces' Millennium and Sierra, ProQuest's 360 Link and Summon and from Ex Libris Voyager and SFX.

CSU is the largest senior university system in the nation, with 23 campuses, more than 460,000 students and 47,000 faculty and staff. The 23 campus libraries are leveraging next generation technologies and adopting a new collaborative platform. When selecting a new Unified Library Management System, the CSU looked for a solution that would facilitate discovery, unify resources, provide powerful analytics, and simplify workflows.

After a thorough evaluation, CSU concluded that the Ex Libris suite of solutions offers a comprehensive approach that will help the campuses improve services and enhance the user experience, all while automating and streamlining library operations across workflows and resource types.
