Academic publisher Oxford University Press (OUP) and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) have announced the launch of European Heart Journal - Quality of Care and Clinical Outcomes (EHJQCCO), the first issue of which was published on July 2. EHJQCCO is the eleventh ESC journal, which focuses on the quality of care affecting cardiovascular outcomes at hospital, regional, national, and international level.
This new addition to the ESC journals portfolio will showcase the best cardiovascular outcomes research to inform cardiovascular public health policy globally. In addition it aims to encourage young investigators and support growth of the outcomes research community. The journal will publish four issues in a year.
European Heart Journal - Quality of Care and Clinical Outcomes is an English language, peer reviewed journal focused on publishing quality cardiovascular outcomes research. It is an official journal of the European Society of Cardiology and has a close alliance with the new European Heart Health Institute. EHJQCCO is published on behalf of the ESC by Oxford University Press, along with six other ESC journals.
