Oxford University Press includes first licensed-in content from academic publishers in Oxford Scholarly Editions Online -

Academic publisher Oxford University Press (OUP) has announced that the first content from licensing agreements with several leading academic publishers is now available on Oxford Scholarly Editions Online (OSEO).

This October's update includes the 20-volume University of California Press edition of the Works of John Dryden (to date, the longest-running research project in the humanities ever undertaken at UCLA), volumes of the Edinburgh edition of the Works of Thomas Reid, and 16 British Academy titles. These will be added to OSEO together with recently published editions from OUP.

In addition to these publishers, OUP has agreed licenses with: the Bentham Project, University Press of Florida, University of Georgia Press, Pickering & Chatto, the University of Nebraska Press, Northwestern University Press, and The Pepys Library at Magdalene College Cambridge.

Future OSEO updates will feature a number of prestigious editions from these ten publishers, including works by Charles Darwin, Thomas De Quincey, Tobias George Smollett, Aphra Behn, Robert Boyle, Sir Walter Scott, Laurence Sterne, James Boswell, Robert Louis Stevenson, Herman Melville, and Samuel Pepys.
