Dr. William Aird appointed deputy editor of Hematology, Endocrinology and Nephrology for DynaMed Plus -

EBSCO Health has announced that Dr. William Aird has been appointed deputy editor of Hematology, Endocrinology and Nephrology for DynaMed Plus™. Dr. Aird sits on several journal editorial boards and brings more than 30 years of practice experience and research to the position.

Dr. Aird is Chief of the Division of Molecular and Vascular Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and formerly served as Director of the Center for Vascular Biology Research from 2008-2015. He also serves as a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Aird specialises in hematology and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

As deputy editor, Dr. Aird oversees the integration of hematology, endocrinology and nephrology content for DynaMed Plus. He supervises the medical writers and editors along with external peer reviewers to ensure that physicians and healthcare professionals treating hematology, endocrinology and nephrology patients have access to the most current, relevant, evidence-based clinical information.
