Academic publisher Emerald Group Publishing has signed a major agreement with the French national licensing programme, ISTEX, to make key academic resources available to the French research community.
The agreement will include digitised articles from 316 journals - 142 of which are ranked in Thomson Reuters (ISI), Scopus, CNRS, AERES or FNEGE - covering the full breadth of Emerald’s collections, including Business & Management, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Education and Health & Social Care.
Developed in 2012, the ISTEX project provides online access to digital publications in all disciplines throughout the French research community on one central platform.
The project is a joint effort between the Bibliographic Agency of Higher Education (ABES), the Academic Consortium of Digital Publications (Couperin), and the University of Lorraine acting on behalf of the Conference of University Presidents (CPU), working hand in hand with the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS).
