IEEE has announced the opening of the call for papers and proposals to the 3rd annual IEEE World Forum on Internet of Things (IEEE WF-IoT). This event will be held December 12-14, 2016, in Reston, Virginia, USA, and the theme is Smart Innovation for Vibrant Ecosystems.
The IEEE WF-IoT attracts hundreds of technologists from around the world who gather to learn and collaborate on nurturing and cultivating IoT technologies and applications for the benefit of the society. The conference is accepting two types of paper submissions, as well as proposals for tutorials, workshops and special sessions, and industry forum panel sessions. Proposal topic areas in 2016 include, but are not limited to: IoT Enabling Technologies, IoT Application and Services, IoT Societal Impacts, Security and Privacy for Internet of Things, IoT Experimental Results, IoT Deployment at ISPs and IoT Deployment at Government.
The deadlines for submitting proposals are: Special Sessions and workshops proposals due April 30; Paper proposals, manuscripts due June 15; and Tutorial and industry panel proposals due July 25.
