The National Federation of Advanced Information Services (NFAIS™), a global nonprofit membership organization serving the information services community, has announced its Board of Directors slate for 2016-2017.
The new NFAIS Board assembled for its first meeting at the NFAIS 2016 Annual Conference, February 23 in Philadelphia.
As part of the new Board, Chris Burghardt, Vice President, Product and Market Strategy, at Thomson Reuters IP & Science, assumed NFAIS Presidency for the coming year. Burghardt, who has served on the NFAIS Board since 2015, currently is responsible for Thomson Reuters IP & Science's product strategy and development for Practice of Science products & solutions, including the Web of Knowledge platform and the EndNote reference management software.
Burghardt succeeds Mary Sauer-Games, Vice President, Product Management, OCLC, as NFAIS President.
