STM publisher Elsevier has announced the 100th anniversary of its Medical Clinics. As it has for a century, Medical Clinics provides the latest clinical reviews on the issues physicians face every day, presenting in-depth insights on a specific topic with contributions from leading experts. Topics cover the entire spectrum of internal medicine, including endocrinology, cardiology, infectious disease, nephrology, pulmonology, and gastroenterology.
To mark the Medical Clinics' centennial, Elsevier has planned a year-long celebration that looks back on the history of Medical Clinics and the major medical advancements that dramatically advanced healthcare across the world over the past 100 years. In addition, Elsevier will look ahead to the next 100 years, asking where medicine will be and what medicine will mean in the future.

Elsevier will kick-off its Medical Clinics centennial celebration at the American Medical Students Association (AMSA) conference, April 1-2 in Washington, DC.
Medical Clinics is one of nearly 60 titles in the Clinics Review Articles portfolio. Clinics Review Articles has been helping healthcare practitioners and medical researchers save time, stay current, and improve patient outcomes for more than 100 years. The first Clinics of North America were published in the early 20th century by W.B. Saunders Publishing Company in Philadelphia. In 1912, The Surgical Clinics of John B. Murphy and the Collected Papers of the Mayo Clinic, known respectively as The Surgical Clinics of North America and Medical Clinics of North America, were launched.
