Emerald creates new group brand to reflect expansion of its offering -

Academic publisher Emerald Publishing has announced two important developments to Emerald's brand family as part of its 50th anniversary year. The move reflects the scholarly publisher's growth into a group of businesses that connect the worlds of research, education and professional learning.

The new Emerald Group brand has been created to incorporate all companies in the business, including GoodPractice and Research Media, as well as future acquisitions. This also prominently includes the established global publishing business, which has been renamed Emerald Publishing (formerly Emerald Group Publishing) and will continue to provide access to a growing collection of more than 300 journals, over 2,500 books and more than 1,500 case studies.

Reflecting these developments, Emerald has launched emeraldpublishing.com and emeraldgroup.com to clearly introduce the aims of the business, and enhanced its emeraldinsight.com research platform to improve the user experience for the research community.
