International Journal of Metrology and Quality Engineering now fully Open Access -

STM publisher EDP Sciences has announced that International Journal of Metrology and Quality Engineering (IJMQE) is now a fully gold Open Access journal, meaning that all published articles will be available for anyone to read at any time from the publication date.

IJMQE was previously a subscription journal, but the move to Open Access demonstrates EDP Sciences’ support of Open Science and allows unrestricted access to published science.

Rather than institutions and individuals paying subscription fees, authors pay an article processing charge for an accepted article. To celebrate its launch in Open Access, the IJMQE article processing charge will be 300€ in 2017 (increasing to 1,110€ following the launch period).

The International Journal of Metrology and Quality Engineering (IJMQE) is devoted to articles dealing with applied metrology and quality tools for process improvement in industry and in research (in environment, health, food, energy, aerospace and automotive). The journal's main focus is related to measurement, sensors and instrumentation, products experimental reliability and safety, conformity assessment, process control and quality management.
