Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, is pleased to announce that the University of Edinburgh has selected the Ex Libris LegantoSM course resource list solution to facilitate the creation, delivery, and use of resource lists.
The University has been providing online resource lists via its Resource Lists service, and the use of these lists is on the rise throughout the University. The complex workflows previously required managing these lists led to duplication of effort, bottlenecks in the preparation of reading lists and resources, and delay in the delivery of these resources before the new semester begins.
One of the main factors in the University's selection of Leganto was its integration with the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform and Ex Libris Primo® discovery and delivery solution, which simplifies library workflows and increases efficiency in the provision and delivery of course reading materials. The teaching staff and students will benefit from easier ways to request and access course reading materials. Comprehensive analytics in the form of predefined reports and dashboards will provide information on the usage of reading lists and list items, thus informing library policy and contributing to business decisions.
