Digital preservation service Portico has announced that academic publisher Peter Lang Publishing Group will preserve e-books with Portico, ensuring that they will be secure and available into the future.
Peter Lang is an independent publishing group with over 40 years of experience in academic publishing around the world. Headquartered in Switzerland and with publishing houses located in Berne, Brussels, Frankfurt am Main, Oxford and New York, the company has made academic research in the Humanities and Social sciences available worldwide for over four decades.
The Peter Lang group currently publishes over 1,500 new titles each year in both print and digital formats as well as Open Access. It covers the complete publication spectrum from monographs to student textbooks.
