Technology company Digital Science is presenting several keynotes at the official event of the Russian Academic Excellence Project, '5Top100' on October 25-27. Four Digital Science reports in the Russian language will also be released at this event.
Held in Ekaterinburg, the event is jointly organised by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the British Council and Ural Federal University. Alongside speakers from Digital Science the event will also feature representatives from 21 university members of the 5top100 Research Excellence Initiative across the Russian Federation.
In collaboration with the Northern (Arctic) Federal University (NARFU), Archangelsk, four Digital Science reports, originally published in 2016 and 2017, have now been translated into Russian and will be published by NARFU.
The reports are: International Arctic Research: Analyzing Global Funding Trends; Arctic Research Publications based on Russian Science Citation Index; Arctic Altmetrics; and The Landscape of Climate Research Funding.
The reports make extensive use of data from the Dimensions database of competitive research grants, which indexes more than $1 trillion peer-reviewed research funding across more than 3.5 million individual grants and awards, linked to principal investigators and their institutions.
