Nominations are now being accepted for the 2018 Emerging Leader Award, which will be presented at the 40th SSP Annual Meeting, May 30-June 1 in Chicago, IL. Established in February 2012, this award acknowledges the achievements of up-and-coming leaders in scholarly publishing who are demonstrating their potential through outstanding service and contribution.
The award recognises an SSP member who has worked in scholarly communication for approximately ten or fewer years; demonstrated leadership abilities on an SSP committee or task force; and has demonstrated leadership abilities on the job and/or within the scholarly communications field outside SSP involvement (OPTIONAL).
The deadline for submitting nominations is March 23, 2018.
