The American Phytopathological Society to preserve e-journals with Portico -

The American Phytopathological Society (APS) is working with Portico to preserve its Phytopathology, Plant Disease, Plant Health Progress, and Molecular Plant-Microbe Interactions e-journals content, as well as its new Open Access title, Phytobiomes, ensuring that these journals will be secure and available into the future.

The Society's mission is to discover and disseminate new knowledge of plant systems worldwide to meet humanity's need for safe and nutritious food, affordable fiber, sustainable forests, and verdant landscapes; and to promote the development and adoption of economically and environmentally sustainable practices to ensure plant health. Members of APS conduct research teach, and participate in outreach for academia, industry, and government.

The applications of their work are documented in APS's publications, most of which are now preserved with Portico.
