Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, has announced that the University of Cergy-Pontoise (UCP) in Paris has selected the Ex Libris campusMTM mobile platform to enhance communication and services for students and staff across its six campuses. The platform will enable the university to deliver dynamic, personalised content and apps on smartphones, tablets, and web browsers.
The university made the decision to replace its static browser-based web portal with campusM in response to input from a diverse student body comprising digital natives, who expect instant access to campus systems, services, and content regardless of time and location. With the campusM platform, the university will have the tools to provide real-time, on-demand access to information that will help students succeed. UCP will also use campusM to create innovative student services in order to increase student satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
The Ex Libris campusM mobile app platform has been implemented by leading universities across Europe, the US, and the Asia-Pacific region to deliver personalised services and content. A flexible platform, campusM can be integrated with various campus systems, including student records systems, learning management systems, and library solutions. Non-technical administrators are easily able to create and publish dynamic content and real-time information and deliver it to specific groups of users, while IT professionals can use the campusM Application Extension Kit to develop new mobile apps on the iOS and Android platforms.
