Elsevier and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research sign national license agreement to provide Russian-based researchers access to ScienceDirect -

Elsevier, the information analytics business specialising in science and health, and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (RFBR) have signed a national license agreement for research and educational organisations in the Russian Federation. This collaboration will provide Russian-based researchers with scientific information to support basic and applied research.

The new agreement provides coverage for nearly the entire Russian research community - allowing access to the world's research information, resulting in better research performance. For over 10 years, RFBR has supported research and educational organisations in Russia by providing access to high-quality Elsevier journals.

ScienceDirect is Elsevier's leading information solution for researchers and peer-reviewed scholarly literature, containing more than 15 million publications from over 2,500 Elsevier journals and prestigious society journals. The current subscription also includes access to 5,000 Elsevier books to support multidisciplinary research in 24 subject fields.
