LIBER has established Open Access and Open Science at the core of its strategy and vision by participating in EU funded projects, having a dedicated Working Group on Open Access and being present at the forefront of discussions and initiatives.
The second edition of the MicroMOOC on Open Access will be coordinated by the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). This is a course on Open Access, run in micro-MOOC format on Twitter for five days, in the framework of the International Open Access Week. A new thing this year is that the course will be in English (at noon) and Catalan (at 10am), unlike last year, when it was only in Catalan.
FOSTER and OpenAIRE are once again joining forces for a new series of webinars and tutorials. In this year's interactive, mixed approach, participants will have the chance to subscribe to dedicated 'tracks', each of which involves reviewing 1 or 2 short online tutorials along with some supporting information. They can subscribe to one or all of these tracks and will be provided with all relevant information they need, starting October 15. They can browse the tutorials and learning materials at their own pace, and then bring any questions they might have to dedicated Q&A sessions during Open Access Week. A range of Open Science experts will be available to help answer the questions. All tutorials and webinars will be accessible without subscribing.
