American Association of Critical-Care Nurses appoints Aluko Hope as Physician Co-Editor of American Journal of Critical Care -

The American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) has appointed Aluko Hope, physician co-editor-in-chief of American Journal of Critical Care (AJCC), its official interdisciplinary, scientific journal.

Hope is an associate professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and an intensivist and assistant bioethics consultant at Montefiore Medical Center.

Hope becomes the journal's fourth physician co-editor-in-chief, succeeding Richard Savel. In the role, Hope will work closely with Co-Editor-in-Chief Cindy Munro, who has been with AJCC since 2009. Together, they will coordinate peer review of submitted manuscripts, co-byline editorials and steward AACN's flagship research journal.

Hope's inaugural editorial in AJCC's Principles of Narrative Critical Care is published in the January 2019 issue of the award-winning, peer-reviewed journal.
