The London Book Fair 2019's Research and Scholarly Publishing Forum, scheduled to be held on March 13, 2019, will tackle the key issues and trends facing academic publishing, including the impact of 'Plan S' on publishing business models, and the latest on OA monographs.
The conference will be chaired by Rachel Bruce from UKRI, and Information Power's Alicia Wise. Keynote speaker David Sweeney is Executive Director of Research England, as well as the Co-Chair of the Plan S Implementation Committee.
Speakers discussing these crucial issues will include James Rivington, British Academy, Matthijs van Otegem, LIBER, Michael Healy, Copyright Clearance Center, and Alison Tweed, Chief Executive, Book Aid International.
Other topics include Stakeholder Perspectives and UUK Work on OA Monographs with speakers from British Academy, Taylor & Francis, University of Manchester, Portland Press and University of London.
