Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, has announced that the University of Technology Sydney has chosen the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform and the Ex Libris LegantoTM course reading list solution as the university’s next-generation integrated system to serve students, academic staff, and library patrons. Alma will replace the University’s Innovative Millennium library system.
The Ex Libris solutions will constitute part of the infrastructure needed for UTS to carry out an ambitious transformation strategy: to bring the new UTS Library, Reading Room, and high-tech underground data storage facility seamlessly together in UTS Central - the university’s innovative student hub currently under construction.
UTS has also committed to joining the ProQuest Rialto™ partner program. The participating universities will help guide the development of the groundbreaking Rialto solution, which aims to unify the selection and acquisition of academic library materials.
