The Library Association of the City University of New York (LACUNY) holds an annual event on May 20, 2005 at the William and Anita Newman Conference Center, Baruch College. The topic to be discussed is ‘Scholarly Publishing and Open Access: Payers and Players’. Dr. Harold Varmus, co-founder of the Public Library of Science (PloS), and Dr. Martin Blume, Editor-in-Chief of the American Physical Society, will deliver the key addresses.
