(ibtimes.com): Reports from research firms ABI Research and Gartner differ on the number of tablets shipped as well as the device's growth over the next few years, but both acknowledge its popularity. Gartner's report said 19.5 million tablets will ship out globally this year while ABI Research's number said 11 million will. ABI's research sees a slower rate of adoption, while Gartner sees an explosion over the next few years.
