The Council of Science Editors (CSE) will host its 48th Annual Meeting in Atlanta on May 20-24, 2005. The council conducts short-term classes for all levels of editors attending the meet. Conferences have been scheduled for critical issues of STM publishing, such as ‘STM Workflows: The Latest and Greatest’, ‘Editing and Publishing for and within the pharmaceutical industry’, ‘Ethics in medical research’, ‘Article and data repositories’ and ‘Publisher anthropology’.
