The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) will hold a training course on November 15, 2005 in London on the strategies for individual journal development in a market. The course will focus on the volatile market characteristics that publishers have to cope with to supply material for and develop journals. It will recommend tools to measure the current status of a journal and the means to improve it. The course is targeted at top editorial professionals, such as managing editors, who are immediately involved in developing their respective journals.
