The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) will conduct a course on publishing contracts on November 22, 2005 in London. The course will focus on the various difficulties of publishing agreements, copyright and contracts, grants of rights, obligations, and indemnities and ancillary contracts among many other legal issues that typically confront a publisher. The course will seek to guide participants in understanding and finalising publishing contracts. It targets professionals handling acquisitions, editorials, commissioning, rights & licensing and contracts.
