The PV 2005 conference on preserving and adding value to scientific data in the long run will be held at the Royal Society, Edinburgh from November 21-25, 2005. This year’s conference will be the third in a series that began in France in 2002. In addition to preserving content, issues pertaining to the methodological, technological, economic and standardising prospects of this field will be discussed. Registration for the conference is now open.
