Wolters Kluwer, Health has announced that, beginning in Spring 2020, emergency physicians will be able to access UpToDate®, Wolters Kluwer’s online, evidence-based clinical decision support resource, during American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) ConCertTM Examinations.
UpToDate will be the first online resource available during the ConCertTM Examination which assesses the knowledge, judgment, and skills of emergency physicians. As part of their continuing certification process, ABEM-certified physicians are required to pass the ConCert™ Examination.
While taking the exams, physicians will have real-time access to UpToDate as a reflection of how they would typically search for the latest evidence and clinical guidelines in the midst of caring for patients.
