Thomson Reuters (TR) launches a knowledge graph feed, self-styled as the first financial social network. According to TR, it is a method of visualizing the connections between numerous data sources instantly.
“The knowledge graph feed uses a common language of Permanent Identifiers (PermID), which connect some two billion relationships. It is the first RDF (Resource Description Framework) graph format for financial markets, which addresses the challenges of data silos with a common language to define public data and relationships. TR believes that it is more useful than the traditional text search and the knowledge graph feed would provide quick insights”.
