Leading academic publisher SAGE Publishing and scite, an award-winning platform for discovering and evaluating scientific articles, have partnered to index SAGE articles on scite to enable the creation of Smart Citations for enhanced discoverability and evaluation.
Smart Citations show how a scientific paper has been cited by providing the context of the citation and a classification describing whether it provides supporting or disputing evidence for the cited claim. The partnership provides scite access to the full text of all SAGE articles to create Smart Citations.
SAGE is an independent academic publisher of leading journals across disciplines including social sciences and humanities, engineering, physical sciences, and medical sciences. The partnership with scite will enable increased accessibility and engagement with SAGE-published research and support researchers to evaluate their research impact.
