Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, has announced that Ithaca College is the first institution in the United States to go live with the Ex Libris Rapido™ resource sharing platform. The College decided to move to the new platform earlier this year and will be using it to conduct resource sharing with partner libraries.
The Rapido platform simplifies and automates resource sharing between libraries. Intuitive Rapido processes save the staff valuable time and provide users with improved service and a shorter turnaround time. A major reason for Ithaca College’s choice of the Rapido system was the streamlining of the user experience.
