Wiley, a global leader in research and education, has announced a new three-year open access agreement with Tulane University Libraries.
This agreement will provide Tulane University Libraries affiliates with access to Wiley’s complete journal portfolio and enable participating researchers to publish research in Wiley’s complete portfolio of nearly 2,000 hybrid and gold open access journals, including those published by Hindawi, starting January 1, 2023.
This is the fourth agreement with a major scholarly journal publisher that Tulane University Libraries has negotiated to waive the article publication charges for Tulane authors who want their articles to be published as open access or publicly available. Wiley, is the largest publisher among them, publishing over 8 million articles across subject areas.
Wiley is committed to paving the way toward an open future globally, having achieved open access partnerships with over 2,200 institutions spanning 23 countries. Wiley established its first US open access arrangement in a pilot with Iowa State University in 2021 and has more recently completed open access agreements with several institutions and large consortia across the country.
