The Publications Division of the American Chemical Society (ACS) has announced a transformative, open access, “read and publish” agreement with Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST).
Authors have published more than 25,000 open access articles in ACS journals, and that number grows every day. Open access agreements help drive ACS’ mission of advancing the broader chemistry enterprise and its practitioners for the benefit of Earth and all its people.
NAIST is a Japanese national graduate university. In addition to research in the established academic fields of information science, biological science, and materials science, proactive efforts in these fields’ interdisciplinary areas make it possible to generate international-level research results that will create the next generation of our society. Through advanced education based on these results, human resources who pursue science and technology with high aspirations as well as researchers who play leading roles in the international community are trained, contributing to the progress of science and technology and the development of society.
