TIB – Leibniz Information Center for Technology and Natural Sciences and University Library, in cooperation with National Research Data Infrastructure Germany (NFDI), has set up a Terminology Service. The service aims to support the use of established ontologies and terminologies.
The TIB Terminology Service provides a single point of access to terminologies from domains such as architecture, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, and physics. Currently, more than 100 ontologies, 1.1 million terms, and over 16,000 properties are included in the TIB Terminology Service. All entries are accessible using a new, extended REST API: https://service.tib.eu/ts4tib/swagger-ui.html.
The implementation as a REACT web application significantly increases the performance, scalability, and usability of the Terminology Service.
