Research publisher Frontiers recently announced the appointment of Parul Kumar as its new chief operating officer. With more than 23 years of experience in driving business transformation and organizational effectiveness, Parul will be primarily responsible for internal processes and the operational model of the company, including governance, organization, policies, procedures, and optimization.
Prior to joining Frontiers, Parul was the Group Head of Operational Excellence at the London Stock Exchange Group, where she led business process transformation and organizational effectiveness. She has also held leadership roles in companies such as GSK, Expedia, UCB Pharmaceuticals, e-Bay, and General Electric, where she successfully led business change, transformation, customer experience, and culture shift in fast-paced and high-growth environments. Parul is also passionate about diversity and inclusion and supports children and women in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics initiatives.
