Frontiers and Slovenian National Laboratory announce OA publishing agreement -

The Slovenian National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food has recently formed a publishing agreement with the open access publisher Frontiers. This agreement means that eligible researchers from the National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food may publish their articles in any Frontiers journal at no cost to them and with a simplified process. Additionally, articles may benefit from a 10% membership discount.

The National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food is committed to making research more widely available, and this agreement will encourage their researchers to publish open access, increasing the volume of openly available research. The wider research community and the public will benefit from this, as open access publishing reduces costs for researchers and makes research more accessible.

Frontiers, which publishes over 80 peer-reviewed journals, is dedicated to open science and open access publishing. The company has established many institutional agreements with universities, research institutions, and funding organizations to provide affordable and efficient publishing options. Frontiers' institutional agreements allow researchers to publish their research openly without worrying about the cost, and this encourages more people to publish their work and to increase its visibility.

For National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food researchers who are interested in publishing in a Frontiers journal, they may select "National Laboratory for Health, Environment and Food" in the payment information section when submitting their article. Frontiers will verify their eligibility with the library, and if confirmed, the APC will be paid by the National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food upon acceptance.

This publishing agreement between the Slovenian National Laboratory of Health, Environment and Food and Frontiers will provide a greater opportunity for researchers to publish their work openly and contribute to the open science movement.
