The center, launched on International Nurses Day (May 12), will be regularly updated to include new research, education, and support in four areas: self-care and well-being, recognition, professional development, and community engagement.
In addition to offering resources and guidance, the Nurses Resource Center aims to recognize and celebrate the vital role nurses play in delivering healthcare. Despite their expert knowledge of patient needs and community health, nurses' perspectives are often overlooked in the design of local healthcare services. The center will feature expert opinions and reflections from nursing leaders to elevate the voice of nurses in the ongoing debate about the future of healthcare.

These include educational materials for nurses and nursing students, peer-reviewed journal articles focused on nursing, health and wellness resources such as articles and videos to help nurses maintain physical and mental well-being, insights and perspectives from nursing sector leaders on the evolving role of the modern-day nurse, a new supplement on the future of nursing that examines challenges faced by nurses and explores potential solutions, and the opportunity to sign up for "The Future of Nursing" webinar scheduled for June 2023.
