Wiley and Mahidol University sign agreement to advance open access in Thailand -

Wiley, a renowned global publisher and leader in scientific research and career-connected education, has announced a groundbreaking three-year open access agreement with Thailand's Mahidol University, marking Wiley's first partnership in the country. The agreement is effective January 1, 2023, and aims to provide enhanced accessibility to Wiley's vast journal portfolio and empower researchers at Mahidol University to publish their work in Wiley's extensive collection of nearly 2,000 hybrid and gold open access journals, including those published by Hindawi.

Mahidol University, known for its commitment to supporting research and promoting the publication of its faculty's academic work in internationally recognized databases, saw Wiley's reputable journals indexed in databases highly regarded by scholars.

Wiley has been making significant strides in advancing open access partnerships, with more than 75 agreements established worldwide. In the current year alone, Wiley has successfully forged new agreements in various regions, including India, Hong Kong, the Czech Republic, Türkiye, Canada, and the United States. The collaboration with Mahidol University marks another milestone in Wiley's ongoing efforts to foster open access and global knowledge sharing.
