Frontiers appoints Julian Oei as Group Business Officer to drive innovation and expansion -

Frontiers, a leading open access publisher, has announced the appointment of Julian Oei as Group Business Officer. In this newly created role, Oei will join the leadership team and oversee the expansion of Frontiers' product and services portfolio into innovative data-driven areas that complement the organization's core publishing services.

Julian Oei brings a wealth of experience in the digital media industry. Prior to joining Frontiers, he served as the CEO of Holtzbrinck Digital, where he led the group's digital growth businesses and investments, with a particular focus on science and research. He also held various senior positions at the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group, including Executive Vice President and Head of Group Strategy, during his more than a decade-long tenure.

Kamila Markram, co-founder and CEO of Frontiers, welcomed Oei's appointment and highlighted his extensive experience as a valuable asset to the leadership team.
